Providence Hospital Announces Management Appointments

May 1, 2012 Mobile, Alabama—Clark P. Christianson, system president and CEO of Providence Hospital, announced the following management appointments:


William MitchellWilliam Mitchell has been named Environmental Services Director. He previously served in environmental services leadership at East Cooper Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.


Bob ThompsonBob Thompson has been named Facilities Management Director. He comes to Mobile with 25 years of experience in facilities leadership. His prior positions include director of engineering services at Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula in Monterey, California and supervisor over facilities and plant operations at St. John's Regional Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
